While I Clean Out the Clutter You Can Have A Laugh Today!

Enjoy Your Day Whatever You Are Doing!

Ikea (Winter Sale). Haven't there been times where you thought the cashier rang up the wrong price and it was in your favor?

Ikea (Mocha Milk). This is a foreign commercial. Sexy but still classy and in case you doubt that you should look at the less puritanical (or more explicit) commercials in regular rotation.

McDonalds (McNuggets Lovin'). This has the same production value as your typical R&B song and video being released today. That's not a good thing.

Ad Council PSA on Fatherhood Involvement (Cheerleader). This airs at least three times per week. I haven't gotten sick of it yet. They have an entire series of them so check 'em out!

Hello there, Faith!

The "Cheerleader" fatherhood commercial reminds me of the many things my Dad went through for me! LOL! Just one example:

When I was around 6 years old he would let me sit on his shoulders (back propped against the sofa and wall) while he watched football games on tv. I would sit on his shoulders and practice putting cornrow braids in his early 1970s size Afro.

He would let me practice doing cornrow braids in his hair. Then I would pick the braids out. [With his "Black Power" pick that had a black plastic fist on the end! LOL!] Then I would re-do the braids.

Of course, the braids came out as soon as the football game was over. But, looking back, I'm amazed that he let me play in his hair like that. God bless him, and I praise God that I was raised by him!

Peace, blessings and solidarity.

Hey Khadija:

Awww that's such a nice story thanks for sharing! I'm bracing myself for your weather as I head back East tomorrow. It was 70 here today. I really wanted to take one carry-on bag but there's no way my sweaters, socks, long johns, hand warmers, boots, scarves and such will all fit with my laptop and video equipment. This is the time I wish I was 5'2" and tiny!
