Bush's Farewell Line

The movie Frost/Nixon looks to be interesting and one of those films the Academy likes to nominate for awards that hardly anyone will watch. "When the President does it that means it's not illegal". That just brings a chill to my spine! You know white corporate interests wouldn't let Obama get away with anything like that - not unless it benefitted them.

I'm still mad people didn't support Spike Lee's Miracle at St. Anna movie. Here we had positive portrayals of Black men as real life heros and Black people seemed to reject that. If it was Soul Plane 3 or Booty Call 2 would it have sold out?

There was a time when Richard Nixon was thought to be one of the most corrupt politicians ever. Well, he's been surpassed!

I am a huge fan of Lee. Always have been and i continue to find myself defending him more and more. that really bothers me.

I think some of his beef with Eastwood was about stirring up a little controversy but I agreed with the bulk of his argument. Spielberg is also guilty of ignoring portrayals of non-white soldiers.
