Did you miss the interview of the year? This day one interview between Oprah Winfrey and Whitney Houston was INTENSE!!! I have many thoughts about their discussion but I'd love to hear yours. This had to be broken up into small increments to process all of the interpersonal and career ramifications. I think there is MUCH to be learned here. I'm making this an open thread if you want to comment. I'm still digesting quite frankly.

Prince Speaks On Being Bullied & Getting Support
This is a preview of the must-see interview with Prince that airs Monday & Tuesday on the Tavis Smiley Show. Yeah we have issues with Mr. Smiley and his penchant for lashing out at Black female journalists who critique his State of the Black Union, but it is what it is. Prince as always rocks the high-heels!! When he shares this story I can't help but think about the rash of young kids who are suicidal because of the abuse they suffer for a myriad of reasons. I wish they had an outlet to escape to for relief. Check your local listing for air times.

Highlights from PBO on Leno
I would've posted the full interview but all personal videos have been pulled from Youtube over a copyright infringement flag. Mind you the news organizations are able to rerun portions to their hearts content, but the little people...not so much! Here's the Twitter stream of messages about the interview - and I just found out the full interview is available on NBC's website. Very clever of them to direct the traffic back to their site, eh?
