Twist of irony and twist of the knife! Just post it. Believe me agonizing over what you write is a sure way to not get any work done. I have a small readership as well but I'm not going to do a gossip blog or throw molotov cocktails of insults at people to fan the flames and boost traffic. Having a voice and influence is best.Faith at Acts of Faith Bloghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02150553143062604249noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6689654975245458947.post-88818163586867031222009-03-30T08:00:00.000-07:002009-03-30T08:00:00.000-07:00My dedication with trying to blog every day has to...My dedication with trying to blog every day has to do with my trying to develop a discipline for writing--any writing. Since my blog is new with a tiny readership I cannot rely on the gratification of getting community feedback to keep me going. I have to rely on the satisfaction I get when I browse a full week or month or more of my output.

I am also trying to develop the discipline of writing fairly quickly. Because of my training I tend to take an inordinate amount of time brainstorming, researching, writing, revising. But it had gotten to the point where the "preparation" was impeding my progress. Blogging has allowed me to let go of a little fear and need for perfection.

Anyway, thanks for this post (and your blog generally). It really got me thinking!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6689654975245458947.post-34996303669902114972009-03-30T00:40:00.000-07:002009-03-30T00:40:00.000-07:00All blog traffic slows on the weekend. I also use the time to unplug and hang with the kids.
Good for you for sticking with writing everyday. It is hard work and not really acknowledged as such. People seem to think that because you are not working up a sweat doing it that it does not come at a cost and as we both know that is far from true. Take care of you and I do enjoy reading what you say, even if I don't comment everyday.Reneehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16388113393817266374noreply@blogger.com
